Appalachian Trail Maintenance

WHO MAINTAINS THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL?

The (almost) 2,200 miles of the world famous Appalachian Trail are maintained by 31 volunteer clubs.

Our club is a proud maintainer of the Appalachian Trail at the areas indicated in yellow on the map below.

Please help us continue this proud tradition by offering to help out on work trips. It is very rewarding and important work and we need YOU to help!

Work trips are included on the hike schedule and on listserv announcements.

Your help is very much appreciated.
