This hike begins at the Gunpowder Falls parking lot on Belair Road and goes through the wooded hills east of Belair Road and north of the river. We will take a half-hour lunch break at the rapids on the Gunpowder. Bring a towel if you plan to get wet. Moderate 2.5 mph pace. Several stream crossings, about 500 feet of elevation. Large parking lot, but it often fills, thus the 8:30 start time.
