This hike is a mixture of fire roads and foot paths along Liberty Reservoir. Highlights: shade, water views, lunch by the water at the end of Coot Peninsula. Early in the hike we have a view of an old copper mine. About 10.5 miles, 1200 ft climbing, and one easy stream crossing. Our pace will average 2.5 to 2.8 mph while walking.
