This is a nice hike along both sides of the Patapsco River near the Avalon Area. The hike will start at the Lost Lake parking lot and go up the Ridge Trail to the swinging bridge, cross to the Grist Mill Trail, go up the Forest Glen Trail through the Hilton area to the Santee Branch Trail, then proceed down an unnamed trail (maybe the Nun's Trail) to the Grist Mill and back to the Lost Lake.
