This morning hike begins where Providence Road enters the Loch Raven watershed. We head through the hilly woods to the east past some secluded coves, then loop west along the water and back through the woods to Providence Road. About 600 feet of elevation. Pace 2.5 mph. There will be a 10 minute snack break along the lake. LEAVE: 9 a.m. from Providence Road and Lakecrest Court. Note: only the hike leader is required to carry a permit.
