This 12-mile loop hike is the first of a series of 5 hikes that will cover the entire Catoctin Trail) in a northbound direction. We will start from the Upper Parking Lot in Gambrills State Park and follow the Catoctin Trail north to Hamburg Road. Then we will return to Gambrills using the Power Line and Yellow Poplar Trails.
