This 13-14-mile loop hike will use trails in the Jug Bay Natural Resources Area of Patuxent River Park in Upper Marlboro. Despite the length of the hike, the trails are not difficult; there are no rocks and few large hills. Much of the hike will be on wooded trails with mild rolling hills, but there will be several miles of trail near the marshlands, and we will visit several observation decks and towers.
