We begin at the St. Johnsbury Road trailhead through the woods and down the New Rocks trail to the Patapsco. Travel along the river and the loop trail through the Pickall area and back. A few stream crossings, some very rocky trails, one pretty steep climb and nice river views. Pace 2.5 mph. There will be a 20 minute lunch break at one of the Pickall pavilions, if available. LEAVE: 9 a.m. from St. Johnsbury Rd. Trailhead.
