The moderate hike is a lollipop-shaped hike starting and ending in front of the Skyland Lodging Office. We will get on the AT and proceed south to Hawksbill Gap. From there we will use two side trails to take us up and over the Hawksbill summit, at 4050 ft. the highest point in Shenandoah National Park.
