This is an 11 mile out-and-back hike in Frederick County. This hike celebrates the Thurston Griggs Trail (TGT), named in honor of one of our illustrious Club members and two-time MCM past president. The TGT is a rugged 0.9 mile trail that crisscrosses a small and easily crossed stream while ascending 650 feet until it meets the Appalachian Trail.
