Join us on a 9-mile circuitous hike from the Pickall Area, Pavilion 708. The hike has a few stream crossings and several steep, but relatively short climbs with an elevation gain of approximately 900 feet.  We will  take a lunch break.  Pace averages 2 to 2.5 mph.

This moderate-to-hard loop hike in Patapsco Valley State Park will use trails in the Hilton area (including Santee Branch, Buzzard Rocks and Grist Mill Trails) plus the Ridge Trail and Cascade Train in the Avalon area.
