This hike will start from the PenMar Park parking lot and hike south on the A.T. to Raven Rock Shelter and return, with stop at the High Rock overlock. The hike includes a long steep climb up the rocky High Rock slope. Please indicate if you plan to carpool or meet at the trailhead.

An out and back hike of 12 miles going south from Wolfsville Road (MD-17) to Annapolis Rocks on the Appalachian Trail. Total elevation gain is 700′ with the longest climb of 500′ over 2.5 miles. Very rocky in places, no significant stream crossings. Pace averages 2.5 MPH.
Starting at Artifact Coffee on Union Ave in Meadow Mill area of Baltimore, we will walk north, slightly uphill, on the Jones Falls trail to the Cylburn Arboretum. We will take a brief walk around the Cylburn grounds, with a snack/lunch stop, then return downhill on the Jones Falls trail to the Meadow Mill area.
This approx 7.5 mile hike starts at Drexel Woods Drive in Baltimore County. The hike loops around on several trails in the Pickall area with lunch at one of the park pavilions. There are several moderate climbs with around 600 feet of elevation and only one moderate stream crossing.
