An out and back hike of 12 miles going south from Wolfsville Road (MD-17) to Annapolis Rocks on the Appalachian Trail. Total elevation gain is 700′ with the longest climb of 500′ over 2.5 miles. Very rocky in places, no significant stream crossings. Pace averages 2.5 MPH.

JONES FALLS TRAIL-MEADOW MILL TO MT WASHINGTON – 5E

Starting at Artifact Coffee on Union Ave in Meadow Mill area of Baltimore, we will walk north, slightly uphill, on the Jones Falls trail to the Cylburn Arboretum. We will take a brief walk around the Cylburn grounds, with a snack/lunch stop, then return downhill on the Jones Falls trail to the Meadow Mill area.
